Genevieve Peters is the high energy, award winning, credentialed teacher and founder of Peters Procedures. She was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology before receiving her teaching credential from California State University, Long Beach in 1990.
When Genevieve began teaching for Long Beach Unified School District she immediately put into practice what has since become Peters Procedures, the behavioral foundation students need to succeed. Within the first year of implementation she and her program achieved community, district, and state recognition, including an award on the Queen Mary and the making of a new teacher training video of the Peters Procedures model. (see video on home page.)
Peters Procedures is poised to become the core behavioral foundation of every high achieving educational program.
Genevieve provides the Peters Procedures model to K-12 environments through staff trainings to school and district programs. She conducts consultations, lectures at universities, National and State education conferences and public and non public school sites.
Her work is regarded as pioneering, revolutionary, and essential.
